Lady Mariam

Singer Lady Mariam, best known for her early 2000s hit song Tindatine, has spoken out about her relationship status, revealing that she is single and not looking for a partner. She made this known when asked to share details about her romantic history.

Dismissing the inquiry, Lady Mariam urged reporters to focus on more meaningful questions, questioning the relevance of asking about her personal life.

When pressed about her marital expectations and the possibility of formalizing a relationship, she responded with frustration, stating that there is no time limit on being single. "Why do you keep asking me pointless questions? What is so special about having a man? Nobody dictates when I should stop being single," she said. She also noted that she has no relatives interfering in her affairs and emphasized that she is content with her current status.

Lady Mariam recalled her past relationship with former KCCA and Uganda Cranes footballer Robert Ssentongo in 2009, stating that their breakup was long ago and she hardly remembers if he still exists.

Additionally, when asked about her association with the now-faded socialite Bryan White, under whose foundation she once worked, she deflected the question, asking the reporter if they still keep in touch with their first employer, implying that the matter was irrelevant.
