Rehemah Namakula has a fondness for children.

During a recent interview with Ruth Kalibala on her YouTube channel, the popular singer Rema was asked about her desired number of children. However, she paused before responding, and Kalibala suggested that she was open to having as many children as Allah would grant her.

Rema expressed her love for children and stated that she and her husband Dr. Hamza Ssebunya both wanted to expand their family. Godfrey Kirumira, a friend of the couple, recently hinted that Rema might be pregnant due to her frequent episodes of vomiting. He suggested that another child might be on the way, although there has been no confirmation of this from the couple.

Rema and Dr. Ssebunya welcomed their first child, Aaliyah Ssebunya, into the world on November 7, 2021.

Rema has a daughter named Aamal Musuza with the singer Eddy Kenzo, who was born on December 26, 2014. In addition to Aamal, she and her current husband Dr. Hamza Ssebunya recently welcomed their first child, Aaliyah Ssebunya, on November 7, 2021.

Meanwhile, Godfrey Kirumira, a friend of the couple, has revealed that Rema is planning to retire from music. Originally, she was planning to retire in five years, but the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted those plans. Kirumira stated that they have given her an additional ten years to make up for the pandemic, after which they plan to stop her music career.

Kirumira explained that they want Rema to focus on taking care of her family, including her husband Dr. Ssebunya, who is also taking care of her. He also mentioned that they are planning a public wedding for the couple, although he did not provide a specific date. According to Kirumira, no expense will be spared for the wedding.
